Aug. 24th, 2007 04:12 pmFriday Brain Dump ahead:
• We now have two dead fish. I wish I could claim credit, but one died the very night I went home to kill the poor bastard. I had my prep all ready, and the other fish could not be found--he hasn't been found for a few days now, and I think the other fish ate his dead corpse. I feel like such a wuss.
• We have 3 brand-spanking-new baby fish. Circle of life, commence.
• LJ has tweaked out and has stopped sending me emails to tell me when people have commented, or when they've responded to my comment. This is irritating. Facebook is also acting up, though I'm not on there as often.
• But speaking of Facebook, it has a new application that lets me list and rate all the books I've read. I listed 46 books and it broke. Grrr...
• I have a stack of unread books from the library again. Squeeage and reading bliss shall commence this weekend.
• I'm almost done with Star Trek: TNG, and the need to find another hour-long, series-completed show to replace it during running time is growing urgent. And I'm thusfar undecided.
• We double booked two shows in January in San Diego. However, the show times narrowly miss each other. If you see me frantically running down the marina in San Diego in January with a script in hand, shouting in pirate-speak, you'll know why. Overall, of course, this means that business is picking up. That's such a sweet, sweet thing. In direct proportion to the increase in business, there will be a decrease in my sleep levels. Not such a sweet, sweet thing.
• Did you know that there's a new energy drink called Pimp Juice? (http://www.letitloose.com/) I'm going to give it to all the hos [really, is that the way to spell that?] I know...I encourage you to do the same.
• I've used "commence" now...3 times...in this post. On the other hand I've used "nefarious" about 6 times in casual conversation. When I get stuck on a word, I get stuck on a word.
•And this bullet makes 10. I watched The Seven Year Itch the other day. Gawd is that a terrible movie. Sorry Billy Wilder, loved Some Like it Hot, hated this one. It doesn't help that Ms. Marilyn Monroe is a horrid, horrid actress when it comes right down to it. That, and having the entire story consist of a guy talking to himself out loud is pretty tedious. No, I don't care that you got 4 stars on TCM. Whew, I had to get that off my chest too.

Date: 2007-08-27 02:19 pm (UTC)I would love to have people at the show...but it's sort of not that kind of show. It would be terribly boring--we do animated characters that interact with corporate presenters. So while it's not as boring as a REGULAR corporate meeting/show, it's still pretty dull....even if one of the characters for January IS a pirate (again!).

Date: 2007-08-24 11:21 pm (UTC)Commence your non-nefarious weekend well! And let us know when you are in SD. It's a long drive and you will have even less time than usual, but who knows?
