Death and...hmm...
Apr. 9th, 2007 02:48 pmThis year marks the third year in a row that my boss has given my tax info to me (1099's and such) AFTER January. It's the second year in a row that my boss hasn't given my tax info to me until April.
It is, however, the FIRST year that I haven't gotten my tax stuff yet. I have 6 days until taxes are due.
It's downright illegal...no, really, it's illegal. However, reporting it to the proper authorities wouldn't really get ME anything, and any kind of fines would only hurt the employees (since we're such a small workplace).
So I have 6 days to do my taxes...but that's assuming I get them today as promised.

I don't know how to do links, so if that doesn't work as a link you may have to cut and paste to get to the page, but it's the official word from the IRS. :)
