Reminder to self...

...quarantine self when exhibiting the least sign of sickness. I often forget that Derrick is "fragile" and if there is any type of bug, virus or germ to be caught, he will get it in the worst way. As someone who really, really rarely gets sick (but apparently is the carrier of many things) this is hard for me to understand or relate to.


I hate it when he's sick. I feel so powerless to help. Apparently shaking him and saying, "just get better already," isn't helpful. Who knew?
