Some Swedish things tickle me. Like the word for "suit" being "kostym" (pronounced "costume").

I had forgotten that "anka" is "duck". So Paul Anka is Paul Duck.

I have always loved how blix is lightning, so Hans Blix was Hans Lightning. Which is an awesome name. And how a smorgasbord translates literally to a "butter goose table".

The skor candy bar translates to "shoe" or "shoes".

My grandmother was a Nystrom--which is "new storm".

I had a friend with the last name Ingman. This is how you find plague children. Ingman or Ingmanson is "no man's son"--a name very commonly given to orphan children during the plague years.

There are more that I can't think of, but I meant to write down. Breastfeeding is a very convenient time to drill myself on Swedish, but I do wonder how good it is for actually building memory.
