pen_gruntIt's amusing to me all the tidbits that are "coming out" (read=being revealed) about new NY governor Paterson.
It's kinda smart, and kinda silly all at the same time. Sort of like, "Look guys, I'm just going to get this ALL out on the table now--so you can't call me on anything later: Lots of affairs, drugs, whatever."
The thing is, I don't think people really care about these things when they're revealed up front--it's just the scandal of secret revelation that appeals to the media. This way, Paterson gets to disclose everything on his terms and no one can come out with a scandal later. Smart.
Then again, it makes me wonder what he's not telling--but I'm a skeptic.
