I freak myself out.

My hotel room has a mirror in front of the sink in the bathroom and a mirror on the door immediately opposite the sink. It also has a very heavy door that closes slowly and silently automatically.

I can't tell you how many times already I've gone to the bathroom to do a general looking-not-to-messed-up check and have turned around and been freaked out by my own reflection in the already-shut door, or have been spooked by seeing unexpected movement behind me in the closed door mirror.

I never claimed to be the brightest bulb in the circuit, but in my defense I'm not so used to doors with mirrors closing automatically, and reflections suddenly being there where there were none before.

Der...

P.S. To all the peeps in cold MN, I'm sorry. It's downright lovely here. I have a view of the marina. *ducking and dodging*

It is beautiful, and yes, I am a big meanie--but I'm an inadvertent meanie--I can't help it, really. I just go where the client wants me to go.
