Why are both the Children's Museum AND the Science Museum closed on Mondays?

I have my niece today, and I really wanted to take her to the Curious George exhibit at the Children's Museum--it fit so nicely with us watching Curious George last night. (Which, by the way, is fairly cute and adult-tolerable for a kids' movie today.)

Oh well, it'll be pancakes at Perkins and coffee at Caribou (for me, not her..and probably just at Perkins, but I liked the alliteration) and then a day of toys, toys, toys!

We ended up going to Perkins, then watching lots of movies, then playing with toys, then walking 3 blocks down to Margaret Park. I was SO glad the sun finally came out for a bit yesterday.

Oh, and then there was more playing with toys...and somewhere in there, there was Mac'n'Cheese and apples and cookies.

Glad that you two had fun! She's just too cute. If we ever go out for coffee, she gets a fruit smoothie, and we call it her "coffee". She's going to be so shocked and disappointed when someone actually gets her a real coffee when she's old enough.

Lol, we were talking about her drinking "coffee" at her birthday party...where she emphatically declared that Aunt BECKY lets her have coffee. Chris was kinda surprised about that.

I tried to give her a sip of the real stuff at Perkins...no dice.
