I'm going to die...sooner
Sep. 25th, 2007 01:21 amSo I'm up late doing late-night show stuff. It's going to be one of those no-sleep shows, I can just TELL. Luckily it's a day long show only--tomorrow is solid rehearsals. I just looked at the clock and estimated I had about 1-2 hours left of work at 1:22 a.m. We have a 7 a.m. call time.
So I decide to do a little procrastinating. By procrastinating (this time) I mean going online to Pandora so I can have background music. On the way, I find this article: http://health.yahoo.com/news/179663
A lack of sleep can be deadly. Such appropriate timing, that. I wonder if I should be asking for hazard pay...
How many hours of sleep per night do you need? Then how many do you actually get?
I think I run at about a 6/4 ratio on average, an 8/2 ratio at shows/events.
Edited to add: At 4:08 it's a 7/3ish ratio tonight. Nighty night.
