Did I seriously just pay $28.50 (with shipping) to get a leather-bound, hardcover, signed copy of Lamb by Christopher Moore...that I already have a reading copy of?

Yes, yes I did. I am most definitely not a non-necessities money spender and I don't regret it for a minute. It looks like a little bible which is, I think, appropriate considering the material.

If you haven't read Lamb it's really quite charming and funny and amusing. Then again, I like most of what Christopher Moore does in some way or another. His books, though they have weak spots, tend to be pretty solid overall and reliably funny.

That's a great book. I'll have to read more of his work.

Lamb is probably about my favorite of his, though I may be partial to it because it's the first thing I read (of his, not ever). It's just...nice...in a lot of ways. Some of his other books feel a bit like he's reaching for The Funny, but Lamb feels really smooth.
