Feeling Springy
Mar. 26th, 2007 11:31 amLast night we slept with the windows open for the first time this year/season. It was so nice waking up with clean sheets (we finally got around to trading out the flannel ones [which were clean too, don't get me wrong] with the uber-posh 400 thread-count ones we got as a wedding gift), in a room filled with bird-like morning noises, soft, cool breezes, and sunshine. It's supposed to be 77 degrees F today, and if I were still in college today would have been a skip-class-and-go-run-around-outside day.
Speaking of weather, yesterday the weather was strange and eerie and odd, and there was nothing to do but stay inside and read a book. It was too warm for how it looked, it smelled funny (like a last breath of winter instead of the first blush of spring) and it should have been raining/thunderstorming, but it didn't.
Oh, do I ever have spring fever today. . . and to top it all off, my crocuses are starting to pop their li'l heads out of the garden:
And it's a beautiful thing.
