I'm feeling a definite posting void, due mainly to my plethora of things to talk about and my lack of talking. I'll make a list so I can remember to talk about said things at a later date:
--The Horrible service at LG's in Palm Springs, CA (was that over two weeks ago already?). The short of it: the hooker got better service than us and I wrote my first letter of complaint to a company EVER.
--A Lake Buena Vista, FL wrapup. I have pictures! I got a show camera! So everyone can see me caught faux-napping backstage after a week straight of 3-hours-or-less of sleep each night.
--The joy of flying SunCountry instead of NorthWest. Or, rather, lack thereof.
--A Midsummer Night's Dream--as performed by community theater in a Methodist church. Starring (well, involving, at any rate) my mother. There were slutty rollergirl fairies, a prancing fairy whose real name was "France" (male), Star Wars musical numbers, and a decided lack of any theatrical staging/production.
--Additionally, the cruelty of making one's 80-something-year-old father with Alzheimers attend said production at 7:30 pm. (Grandpa circled the parts in the program where he thought he could escape undetected.)
--A beautiful Sunday morning with pancakes and cartoons.
Yesterday I spent the day alternately "working" and cleaning the house. I painted a shelf. I must remember that paint, like the ring of power in LOTR, always wants to get back to its master (in this case, the beige carpeting) and no matter how one tries to prevent it, it constantly seeks a way back to said master. Did I just compare painting to LOTR? I need coffee. You would think after spending years painting things (I'm a veritable expert by now) I would learn a few basic rules. . . or not neglect said rules when I don't feel like following them.
Anyway, maybe I'll write about the above things, maybe not.
