Haven't you always wanted a monkey?

Sometimes work brings truly random things. The benefit of doing part of an event that is, in part, supposed to be a treat or reward for the attendees is that some of the cool stuff in the periphery of the meeting can touch you sometimes.

That being said...seriously...monkeys.




That's Flash giving me a hug...


The one monkey (whose name, I think, was Rosie) kept petting my hair--she was rather enamored with my ponytail.


Oddly enough, before he handed me Flash, the trainer told me how Flash had bitten his ex-wife 50 times in 30 seconds--or some such thing--causing multiple scars. That considered, I think I look remarkably calm.


Flash is shocked, SHOCKED I say, that he would have his picture taken.


This, folks, is a monkey kiss.


My boss with Flash. This is what Flash does when you say, "Defend me." He perches and screeches.
