Day and Night
Jan. 19th, 2015 02:52 amI am sleeping like crap. I fell asleep at midnight tonight which, of course, meant I woke up at two and here I am still! Insomnia gives me the patience I need to actually update LJ on my iPad...which is the only way I can right now. I don't worry about it too much--though it does not make for great-feeling days. I just watch standup comedy clips or something until I fall asleep again.
Same story last night so I took a nap mid morning. Not anything that would kill sleep, just a normal nap. Then I went on over to clean a bit at grandma's and found her dead-before-her sister's gallstone in a labeled jar from 1975.
I mean...seriously. I joke about there being too many found teeth to all belong to people in the immediate family, but it's possible that they do. People have a lot of teeth.
Who the fuck keeps their sister's gallstone?
And I don't exaggerate in the slightest when I say that sometimes you open a perfectly innocent looking box and find surprise body parts. Two surprise teeth (canines with roots and fillings--we think these belong to my aunt since they also had her dental molds for braces nearby) and a surprise great-aunt gallstone.
