Lingering

My Christmas tree is pretty. I don't like taking it down. It's a lot of work to put up and I like how it looks. Hence it will likely stay up until February or some such.

I took this pic while relaxing post d&c last Friday. I even had special resting socks.

I think the latest I've had it up was March. Late March. Even then it was a struggle. If I left it up year-round I probably wouldn't love it so much though, so one has to do what they have to do.

I usually have my tree up until at least mid February. I think one year I took it down just before (or after) Easter.

It is pretty! I feel the same about our sukkah. Patrick takes it down, though, so I don't have to angst over it.
