It was a dangerous mission.

Site: Mauschwitz, the concentration camp for toy mice, bits of toy mice, and some various jingly balls. Located under the washing machine.
Rescued: Seventeen assorted mice, balls and catnip toys. Many with dust ball tumors, but otherwise not significantly traumatized.
Briefing: On Christmas day, one length of copper pipe was swiped under the washing machine several times--what emerged was a shocking amount of cadaverous cat toys. Cats have been observed carrying said victims to the front of the washing machine, interrogating them briefly, then--with single swipe--batting them under the machine. Cats will do this repeatedly until all the mice are eradicated and only pure, wholesome and virtuous ribbons remain. Cats have been seen staring into Mauschwitz and yowling with German accents.
