Bread and Buttering
Jun. 21st, 2012 04:57 pmMN for Marriage called the General Mills statement against the proposed marriage amendment (and therefore against discrimination) "One of the stupidest PR decisions of all time."
Pat Kessler reports that MN United for ALL Families (anti-amendment) has raised 4.6 million dollars to oppose the marriage amendment.
Conversely, MN for Marriage (pro-amendment, douchebags*) has raised 1.4 million dollars to support it.
Methinks General Mills knows where their Pillsbury Crescent Rolls are buttered.
*Interpolation additions are my own
ETA: Also, I amuse myself with poor photoshop skills.

Seriously, what is the lunatic right going to do to GM? Like R MN politicians are going to call for a boycott of a local Minnesota company that employs thousands in the midst of a recession? Seriously? Or maybe people will stop eating Cheerios? lol forever.
I'm not sure that the bigots are going to fund directly. I think a lot of Koch-style money will roll independent ads to avoid having to disclose donations.
