Game of Thrones

Is anyone else watching Game of Thrones on HBO? (No, I know, we don't have HBO either, but D downloads the episodes from Idunnowhere.)

Holy effing crap.

I've read the books. I'm re-reading the books right now. I knew what was coming in this week's episode and yet... Good lord, that was one well-filmed scene. The whole episode, actually, was an absolutely downright amazing hour of television.

I hear this was the episode they submitted for Emmy consideration. I would lay down money that it will win.

Well, I don't think all dorks are required to love fantasy-fiction. There are many branches and sects in the dork-o-verse. :)

Well in that case--in the Game of Thrones vein--I can recommend that you go as a black clad member of the night's watch.

Oh wait, the black characters in the books all come from the country of Asshai. That's right. Asshai.
