Eye zapping.
Apr. 7th, 2010 04:04 pmI get Lasik tomorrow. I'm excited. It'll be fantastic to be able to see without glasses or contacts, and I've heard *nothing* but good things from people who have had the procedure. (You won't believe how much you'll love it! I wish I had gotten it sooner! Etc!)
But I'm still pretty freaked out right now. I mean, they're taking lasers to my eyes. EYES people. I only have one set. What if the doctor sneezes mid-procedure and...and...and...
I'll be fine. I'm sure.
But just in case, I'm looking at everything just a little bit longer today. You know, so I can be sure I know what things looked like.
On another note, without being able to do sighted things tomorrow, I wonder what I'm going to do during my recovery time. I would normally read or something, but I'm guessing that the eye pain/discomfort in addition to the Valium will pretty much put me firmly in the "will be sleeping" category. What a waste of a day off.
