I got Derrick a Wii for his birthday. His birthday isn't until Sunday, but I let him open it up tonight.

This way he has the whole weekend to play with it. (I tell myself...justifying the complete cave-in when I had sworn to hold off till his true birthday.)

I can't help it. He's so freaking excited about it--it's just a joy to behold. I love seeing him happy like this.

I wish everyday were his birthday. :D
