Non-partisan irritation.
Sep. 3rd, 2008 09:32 pmI hate conventions.
I hate them, because I don't care HOW excited or angry you are, people, I don't approve of shouting while one is speaking.
This is why I don't like the big bible-thumping, shouting evangalists either.
Maybe it's a Scandinavian-Minnesotan thing. I can't listen to the speeches--I have to read the transcripts.

There's no cause for shouting.
I don't even like the uproar of the applause.
Oh, and I'm slightly perturbed because the RNC is royally f*cking up a lot of things in my fair city.
I know you're trying to make a point, but don't have a Republican convention in a primarily Democratic state. It's stupid. It's asking for trouble.
And then there's more shouting.
I hate shouting.

I guess I grew up in a family where I never heard anyone raise their voice to another (save to yell at us kids to settle down) so I'm just not used to it and it makes me highly agitated.
