Niece-Tales

pen_gruntAt our house this weekend, I was holding the new nephew and my sister was sitting beside me. We were talking with our niece.
"Are you a good big sister?" we ask her.
She smiles her patented mischievous smile, leans over her little brother and slowly strokes his cheek.
She shakes her head slightly, "Baaaaaaaaad," she says in a slow, drawn out, low voice. Still smiling.
Oh dear.
Derrick suggested we teach her how to curl her finger and say, "Red Rum."
