I'm workin' tonight...
I didn't finish up everything I had to do today, and so a pesky little press release is usurping part of my reading/relaxing time. Ah well, I'm not so irritated as I could be--tomorrow is FRIDAY.
However, the press release happens to be one of my company's "official" releases (on our end) for the book that I wrote. How I got suckered into writing my own press release...I don't know. It's fairly surreal and sort of mental (delusional) to be having a hypothetical interview/quotes session with myself.
"So tell me Missy, why did you write this book?"
"Well Missy--nice name, by the way--it's funny you should ask that..."
"Is it funny? I mean really...you ARE talking to yourself you know."
"It's always about you, isn't it? Lets get back to my interview shall we?"
*shakes head* "Authors, they're such divas..."
"I heard that! That's it, no more interview for you!"
You know you're insane when you start walking out on your own hypothetical interviews with yourself.
I'm going nutty :)
The BIG plus about working from home--there's nothing better than a purring kitty on your lap when you're typing. My cat's favorite thing to do whenever there's a computer in site is sit on my lap and sleep--it doesn't matter when or where. It's very relaxing.
...Of course a minute ago he decided that he wanted to rummage through my briefcase to find remnants of a Mac power cord to chew...but hey, I take the cuteness where I can get it.

*shrug* If you're really that interested in using game shows in training...I guess you could get a copy, but really...yeah....um...I'm not expecting blockbuster sales here.
