Today, I got a postcard in the mail. From my boss. Who was only out of town for about 12 hours.

To preface: I get my niece a postcard from every place I go, so my boss has seen me writing these little notes and sending them off. I'm notorious for including little bits of information about a place that may, technically speaking, not be true. For instance, computers aren't "born" in Silicon Valley, where they have computer nurseries--dedicated to helping baby computers grow into adult computers. Strictly speaking, not everyone in Florida has an alligator for a pet either. I'll either be the coolest aunt ever, or she'll hate me for getting her in trouble with everyone ("But my Aunt Missy said it was true!").

So knowing this, my boss sent me this postcard from Atlanta:

At least I've never told my niece that they bronze people alive in a particular city.

they bronze baseball players, don't they?

ya kjnow, there are moments where you and your boss seem oddly co-dependent.

We do have our moments. Mostly he is dependent on me, I think. I mean, he went out of town about a month ago and called me no less than 6 times on my cell phone and home phone, and also text-messaged me. What was so important, you ask?

"I'm bored."
"It's no fun here right now."
"I'm boooooored"
"MiSSY, I'm BORED"
"Missy, you should be here to entertain me!"

You know, sometimes I think I'm more of a dancing monkey than an employee.

A dancing monkey.

ooooh! Do you have one of those little red caps (with matching jacket & gold trim)? You'd look so sexy...

Well, it's the "Georgia Peach" thing...but I don't see us going around in Minnesota with 10,000 streets named "Corn" or "Soybeans".

:D Then again, neither are as lovely as peaches, so I suppose.
