I was saying things like "penis, penis, penis"...and I think they were surprised about the kind of language coming out of my mouth.

It was all in context:

Boss: Missy, when you write jokes it's all plot and subtlety, and it fits into the show.

Me: Yes, and when you write jokes boss, it's all "penis, penis, penis...cock, cock, cock." (He tends to do 12 year old boy jokes.)
