Coolest meeting rule ever
Jan. 11th, 2008 03:47 amThe company we're working with has a meeting room rule:
If the party who signed up to use the room is 10 or more minutes late, you can take over the room. Even if they come in, the room is now yours, per policy, and the party can get in trouble for trying to claim it back.
So we effectively squatted in an empty-yet-signed-up-for meeting room.
After 10 minutes, it was, by all rights, ours.
Meeting rooms are at a premium. There are little hordes drifting from room to room, peeking in and seeing if they can be squatters.
When we had our room scheduled, we left someone in there AT ALL TIMES to make sure no one took over.
Awesome.
