Packing, packing...

pen_gruntI really dislike packing. It gives me the perpetual feeling of forgetfulness. Perhaps if I were a more organized person? I mean, I could at least, in theory, make a list. Just once. I'm sure I'm capable.
Nah, that will never happen.
On the other hand, tonight people gave me things for yummy plane snack-like-stuff. Derrick got me a package of strawberries. My sister got me a cookie so massive that it may have been designed to both kill AND satisfy. Either way, it's the sugary spawn of satan. So delish.
Dallas. I really dislike Dallas. Why does every freaking client we get lately have to be based out of Dallas? Luckily it's only for a night. Downside: the client is taking us out to dinner at this meat-coma place where everything is "aged"--even the dressings. Methinks they just bought things in bulk 8 years ago and are slowly getting rid of their stockpiles without having to purchase fresh food. I hate client dinners. Hate. Hate. Hate.
Travel coming up in August:
Las Vegas (Winn Hotel perhaps)...in August? You have to be freaking kidding me.
Denver (tentative)
Minneapolis show (yay for local shows)
Local random video shoots
Some trade show road tour crap
And I'm sure there's other crud that I'll be pulled/coerced/forced into somewhere in there. I'm listed as primary writer on 5 shows in August, so there's bound to be more out-of-state meetings and such.
