Fixing Cars
Oct. 15th, 2008 07:33 pmA hose broke in my van, and it overheated on the way to work this morning. It's now sitting in my garage, waiting to be repaired.
Derrick called me and outlined his plan for the evening; stopping to get coolant, various other things, then going outside and fixing my car.
"Or you could go out and start fixing it," he suggests.
"I'm not wearing pants," I counter.
"Oh, so that's the argument you're going with?" he teases me.
"So, I don't like to fix cars. So what? When it comes time to have kids, how about you keep fixing the cars, and I'll make the babies. Sure, you replaced a hose today in my car, but you know what I did? I made a circulatory system. Ha."
Yes, that's the argument I'm going with. That, and the no-pants thing.
