Tax Season
Apr. 6th, 2010 11:34 pmI came home to find Derrick doing our taxes.
Next to a bottle of Jack Daniels (the Jameson was gone) and a 2-liter of ginger ale.
Hey. You gotta do what you gotta do, right?
We only got about a hundred bucks and some change back, but it's better than a kick in the teeth--and considering Derrick is technically self-employed, (even though I take out extra from my paycheck to cover what he doesn't take out over the year) it's still nice to get something back for once.
My refunds were so much more substantial when I was a single gal. What's this tax advantage to getting married thing that I keep hearing about?
