This Doesn't Suck.

Everything that the last event was, this event isn't...and that's a good thing.

It's a low-stress show, I'm in a tropical location with a beautiful view and enviable weather. Scripts for both days AND an awards show are all done (and the client has forbidden further changes). The client started out loving us, loving the script and loving what we were doing--and they're keeping that opinion thus far. The audience is happy with the company and with each other, and they're happy to be at the event (though itching to get to the beach--and who could blame them).

Today is a free afternoon (a super-rarity). I think I'll run and then go and pick up shells along the beach. No sir, this does not suck. Not one little bit.

I totally needed a show like this.

An item of note--my icon picture was taken last year in this same location. There are no monkeys this year, however.

Yay! I'm so happy for you and your relaxation. We should make outrageously ugly seashell crafts with your collection. Have fun!

I'll have to be sure to get a wide assortment then. . .

Hey, how's the new job going?

The lack of monkeys means that this year is inherently less unsucky than last, in my humble opinion.

I would agree with that assessment, although there are considerably more jellyfish to poke and dissect this time around.
